The EZY-ACCESS cavity sliding door system has been especially designed for disabled people who require the use of a wheelchair to enter or exit the rest room or bathroom. This cavity sliding door systems has been specially designed to assist those in need to get close enough to reach the door handle to open and close the sliding door.
The EZY-ACCESS cavity slider has been designed to comply with Australian Standard AS 1428.1-2009.
Minimum clear opening of a doorway on a continuous accessible path of travel must be 850mm when measured from the edge of the opened door to the door jamb, door leaf needs to sit proud of the cavity to allow for a projecting handle to make it easy for the user to open/close.
